R - A pitch that rises as it crosses the plate
D - A pitch that drops as it crosses the plate
C - A pitch that "curves" or moves in the opposite direction of the pitcher's throwing hand
H - A pitch that "slices" or moves in the same direction of the pitcher's throwing hand
e.g., a pitch from a left-handed pitcher that is down the middle of the plate to a right-handed batter, slightly above
the middle of the strike zone, that drops and moves in on the batter, would be coded S6 - DC
